Welcome to Cats of Avalon, where we breed and show Siamese and Oriental cats.

Although our cats are as beautiful as fabulous beasts from mythic tales of old, they are much friendlier and easier to live with!

We are a small breeders, only breeding one litter a year, and we are based in Cambridgeshire. The kittens are brought up underfoot with chickens that pop in and out of the kitchen, and our older cats have outside access to our orchard. Avalon is our prefix, which is the breeding name that we are registered under with the GCCF. We chose this because we thought it suited these noble cats with their mythic beauty and faithful hearts. Our cats are fully vaccinated, registered with the GCCF, and live with us in the home, not in pens. Some of them are show quality, but we don't sell any on breeding terms.

Siamese and Orientals are intelligent, talkative, loyal and friendly - some say more like a dog than a cat. Siamese cats have blue eyes and pale bodies with darker "points" in any other colour or pattern. The classic Siamese is a seal point with a dark brown face, tail and legs (points). Orientals are exactly the same but with green eyes, and any colour or pattern all over instead of points.

Here at Cats of Avalon we breed typey Orientals and Siamese with big ears, slim bodies and triangular features. Don't be fooled by the delicate appearance, though - these are energetic, muscular, healthy cats who love to run up trees and play!
